Overview

AWS Cloud Credit for Research program at Yale is overseen by the Yale Center for Research Computing. This three year program (currently in its third year) is aimed at supporting projects that seek to build a cloud-hosted service, software, or tools and/or seek to migrate a research process or open data to the cloud. Number of projects are selected each year and granted $5,000-$10,000 in cloud credits to be used towards AWS cloud services. Potential use cases include: Moving pipelines or other workloads from the Yale HPC clusters to AWS, Proof of Concept, Workshop or Tutorial, etc.

Eligibility

All Yale faculty, postdocs and graduate students who have not been previously awarded AWS credits under this program are eligible to apply. Postdocs and graduate students will need sponsorship from their faculty advisor.
